Description Funding is granted through aid under the Community rules on State aid, these can be a contribution, interest beneficiary or beneficary loans, Contributions for business investment projects of small and medium enterprises The Province uses available EU Ressources as well as contributions and financial donations due to the operational programs of the EU Structural Funds in particular investments in the local supply, investment for businesses in disadvantaged areas and investment for companies
Major objectives Promoting the economy through industry, commerce, tourism and services
Short Summary The legal acts major objective is to support the development of the economy, industry, craft, trade, tourism and services and in particular their value and even international, competitiveness. It foresees initiatives to support the shops that conduct neighborhood service. Its promotes the development of the economic sectors of industry association, commerce, tourism and services and in particular of their added value and their competitiveness, even international on compliance with EU regulation, the requirements of ecology and protection of the environment, the need to ensure a work environment conducive to the family, the employment balance, the promotion of under-represented gender, requirements of labor protection, hygiene and safety at work. The Province provides funds through granting state aid under the Community rules. The aid can have the following forms, and combinations thereof: contribution, interest-favoring, favored loans.
For companies that are based in less-favored areas within the meaning of Community law, grants may be awarded up to 15 percent higher than that provided for in the following sections utmost addition; this on the basis of criteria defined in Article 2 of the Provincial Law of 22 October 1993, no. 17, concerning " regulation of the administrative procedure and the right of access to administrative documents “, which shall be notified to the European Community.
Under the Community rules on State aid in particular for companies with in structural weak areas increased aid in form of surcharges on the basic subsidy rate can be granted Art. 4(5).
With the aim of achieving employment security, the province can grant subsidies to rescue or restructure companies on the basis of a reorganization, restructuring or conversion plan in accordance with the relevant provisions of Community law.
For the measures pursuant to Article 19, the country can provide up to 50 percent of eligible expenditure for SMEs, to corporations and associations as well as individual or combined company headquartered in South Tyrol and on the basis of criteria from the purposes of Article 2 of the provincial law 22. Oct. 1993, no. 17, shall be adopted and must be notified, even to large enterprises.
In order to increase the overall growth and productivity of the local economy, the province can grant subsidies for initiatives in favor of the industrial sectors of craft, industry, tourism, trade and the service sector from 2016 to institutions, corporations, associations and organizations. The permissible initiatives include:
a) education and training, consulting and knowledge transfer, b) internationalization, c) Advertising and promotion of domestic production, d) studies, surveys, research and enhancement projects, e) any other initiatives that are considered appropriate for achieving the objectives mentioned in this paragraph.
