Major objectives implementation and intensification of the sustainability goals
Short Summary Based on the Tyrolean Sustainability Strategy, regional contents are added to higher-level strategies such as the Europe 2020 Strategy, NSTRAT, ÖSTRAT, etc. The objective of the Tyrolean Sustainability Strategy is the implementation of strategic plans in local projects – according to the motto "think globally – act locally". In the course of this, the continuous linking of economic, social and environmental aspects is of central meaning. Important aspects are a) consideration of the global perspective in thinking and acting, b) linked observance of environmental and development aspects as well as c) fairness between and within generations. The heart of the Tyrolean Sustainability Strategy are the twelve specific fields of action (including active communities, work, education and knowledge, energy efficiency, climate protection and climate change, mobility, waste management, natural resources, spatial development and economic innovation), which are the tools of the Land government for their realization.
