Short Summary The law on the regulation of the community system in Tyrol (Tyrolean Municipal Code 2001) applies to all communities of Tyrol except for the city of Innsbruck. The provincial capital Innsbruck has its own city law. The Tyrolean Municipality Code 2001 contains provisions about the municipalities and their duties, about the community authorities and the referendum, the municipal assembly and petitions. In addition, there are rules on the municipal associations.
