Description The main goal of this plan is to enhance existing networks and infrastructures and to foster complementarity between transportations mode and cooperation between actors. It can be used as a tool for coordination and consistency in terms of people and goods mobility.

- Improving and developing bonds, currently failed because of the lack of easy communication and fast modes of mobility
- Enhancing multimodality for transportation with high quality services
Short Summary This document specifies the strategy of the Region in terms of transportation with medium and long-term objectives. The main goal is to optimize existing networks and infrastructures and to foster complementarity between transportation modes and actors cooperation.
This document consists in a coordination and consistency tool in terms of people and goods mobility in order to reach the needs.
It aims to give a vision of transportation organisation until 2020, by taking account of:
- All the projects planned through the PACA region.
- The socio-demographic evolution
- The evolution of transport modes (following policies or changing way of life)
- The needs of inhabitants and economical actors in terms of accessibility (internal or external to the territory), quality of services, employment and economical development.

Beyond enhancing transportation system, the region aims to follow three main orientations essential for its economy and its future :
- Willingness to be open to and from the outside
- Improving and developing bonds, currently failed because of the lack of esay communications and fast modes of mobility
- Enhancing multimodality for transportation with high quality services

These orientations aims to gather economical grow and environment preservation . They are include in a consistent framework.
