Short Summary The law aims to reorganise and modernise french healthcare system. 4 lines : Hospital, doctors distribution, and accessibility to care in urban area, measures for public health and prevention, creation of regional health agencies responsible for coordinating health policies within territories.

1. Hospital
The law strengthens the hospital director position and gives more responsibilities to doctors in the hospital governance. The hospital policy is coordinated with the director.
The law provides “territorial hospital communities” to allow the cross cutting of means of several hospitals with a reference center

2. doctors distribution
The laws also aims to improve the doctor's distribution through the territory. The cooperation between health professionals is promoted and aims to strengthen the role of paramedical positions.

3. Public health and prevention
The law prohibits the sale of alcohol to children under 18.
The law provides settlements of disposals to develop therapeutic training of patients.


4. Regional health agencies
They are created to implement at a regional level all the provisions provided by the law.
