Description The strategy aims to develop new partnerships in order to improve delivery of services towards elderly and disabled people
Major objectives To set up "centers for autonomy"
To improve welltreatment and quality of care
To improve integration of people in loss of autonomy in daily life
Short Summary The plan for the Autonomy is drawn upwithin a legal framework which reflects the partnership dimension of social policies. Indeed, the Code of the social action and families provides that plans related to the disabled people are adopted by the General Council, after dialogue with the representative of State in the department and with the regional health Agency.

The plan represents also and above all an opportunity for territorial actors : they can wonder about their policies and their impacts, and cross different points of view on answers and points of improvement, develop new partnerships and make understandable the choices of local authority and its priorities. The present plan is thus the outcome of a dialogue with the actors of the department participating in policies implementation towards elderly and disabled people.
